THANKS TO ALL WHO WROTE IN!!!
Matt got a call from Congressman Sarbanes’ office today saying that they received more than 200 emails and it crippled their system. Ok, so they weren’t happy they had to bring in two interns just to handle the massive email backlog… but IT WORKED! Our application made it to the top of the pile thanks to a good dose of friendly consumer nudging.
So, on July 5th we should be contacted with an appointment for expediting Matt’s passport in time for our honeymoon!
Thanks to everyone for all your support… oh, and the nice lady at Sarbanes’ office kindly requested we stop sending email requests now. J
